Session Topic: The Patient Experience
Paresh Dawda is a practicing GP with a portfolio of roles spanning clinical, leadership, academic and consultancy domains. He is Director and Principal of Prestantia Health, a unique organisation providing outreach primary care services and consultancy services. He as academic affiliations at University of Canberra and Australian National University, he is the Editor-in-Chief for BMJ’s Integrated Healthcare Journal and was the lead author of the Experience Based Codesign toolkit for Australia. He Co-chairs the ACT PHN Clinical Council as well as the GP Advisory Group at the NSW Agency for Clinical Innovation, where he is also GP Consultant Adviser and Deputy Chair of RACGP’s Quality Care Committee. He has presented at numerous national and international conferences. Above all he has a passion for clinical leadership, quality and patient safety improvement centred around a vision of patient centred medicine as the golden thread that unites all his diverse interests.
