Dike graduated from the Mayo Medical School in Rochester, Minnesota in 1984 and completed his Family Practice Residency at the Shasta Cascade Program in Redding, California in 1987.
He served as an Emergency Room Physician at Redbud Community Hospital in Clearlake, California for a full year after residency. Dr. Drummond practiced full spectrum Family Medicine for 11 years as a member of the Skagit Valley Medical Center in Mount Vernon, Washington. He was also the Chairman of the Executive Committee and Managed Care Medical Director for that organization.
Dr. Drummond suffered from career ending burnout and left his medical career in 1999 to become an Entrepreneur beginning with his Interactive Guided Imagery Practice.
He served as COO of Superteams, LLC providing Leadership and Facilitation training to Lean Six Sigma Black Belts in all branches of the US Military.
Dr Roger Sexton is a rural GP with a strong and enduring interest in doctors’ health since 1997 when he initiated a rural GP support program in SA and went on to establish Doctors’ Health SA, in 2010. He is the inaugural Medical Director of this unique program.
He has been a past Presiding Member of the Medical Board of SA. He is currently a board director of medical indemnity insurer MIGA, Chair of its Risk Management Committee and a member of its Claims Committee. He is also a current board director of NPS MedicineWise and the national Doctors’ Health Services Pty Ltd.
He has a long standing interest in medical education and enjoys tutoring clinical skills at Adelaide University Medical School and is a recent AMA(SA) Medical educator Award recipient. He completed his Adelaide MBA in 2015.
His clinical duties include working at the doctors’ health clinic, rural GP locums, rural skin screening and executive health. He is married with two adult children and enjoys sheep farming, music, theatre, art and travel.
Chris Babich has been, specifically and exclusively, working with the medical profession in in recruitment( locums and permanent staffing) , practice sales and valuation since 1981.
Chris has also lectured to the AMA( NSW Branch) , RACGP members as well undertaking regular presentation to GP Training Consortiums and now GP Synergy, since 1987.

He runs his business under the name of Australian Babich Medicos with an office in Narrabeen , on the beautiful Sydney Northern Beaches.
Dr Nathan Pinskier is a Melbourne GP with a long-standing involvement in primary health care, digital health, accreditation and practice management. He is a director and co-owner of a Melbourne based group of general practices Medi7. He is the chair of the RACGP Expert Committee for eHealth & Practice Systems and the medical director of the DoctorDoctor Locum Medical Service in Melbourne. and the president of the General Practice Deputising Association. Nathan is also a current board member at Peninsula Health and chair of the Quality and Safety Committee.
Nathan is currently the Co-sponsor for the Australian Digital Heath Agency’s project to establish interoperable and secure electronic communications across the healthcare sector and is part of the Australian Digital Heath Agency’s steering committee providing advice regarding pathology results in the My Health Record.
Anna-Maria is the Senior Product and Operations Manager at PracticeHub. She is a qualified Quality Management Systems Lead Auditor (ISO 9001: 2015), as well as very experienced supporting a range of practice types (GP, dental, ophthalmology, cardiology) through accreditation again the RACGP, NSQHS and Diagnostic Imaging Standards. She regularly present on systems, policies and procedures.
As the acting Deputy Commissioner, Melanie Drayton is the principal adviser to the Australian Information Commissioner and Australian Privacy Commissioner. Prior to her current appointment, Ms Drayton was the Assistant Commissioner in Regulation and Strategy and responsible for the regulation and assessment functions of the OAIC. Prior to commencing her role in 2016, Ms Drayton held a variety of senior positions within the OAIC. These roles allowed her to influence both reactive and proactive regulatory activities and strategic policy work. Ms Drayton’s breadth of responsibilities has seen her work across privacy, freedom of information, and information management functions. She has supported the mission of the OAIC in preparing guidance, drafting legislative instruments, and promoting the requirements of the Privacy Act and FOI Act.
Prior to commencing her tenure at the OAIC, Ms Drayton worked for the NSW government and sector.
Vicki Linden is currently the Practice Manager with myPhysioSA, an allied health business in South Australia. Currently with 6 locations, 27 clinical and administrative staff and 6 practicing Directors, MyPhysioSA is a rapidly growing business. MyPhysioSA was honoured to be a finalist in the QIP Health Service of the Year Award in 2018.
Vicki has over 30 years of experience in the health industry having worked for privately owned and run Specialist, GP and Allied Health businesses. She has a Diploma of Practice Management from UNE Partnerships and a Certificate in Professional Management from The University of Adelaide with her major project, ‘A Framework for Review of Services and Service Standards’.
She has been an AAPM member for 10 years and is a Certified Practice Manager and was proud to be named AAPM SA/NT Practice Manager of the Year in 2016.
Additionally, Vicki is the appointed Course Ambassador for the Certificate and Diploma courses AMA (SA) Skills Training provides for support workers in the practice sector of the health industry. She is the Principal Trainer and online mentor in all levels of practice qualifications and the advisor for the validation of units which are relevant to the private practice workplace.
Vicki’s passion is excellence in service delivery to healthcare patients through education of administrative support staff, development of a positive work culture and consistent review and monitoring of workplace processes.

For most of her career, Colleen has been actively involved in with AAPM and held positions of State and National President. She is a Certified Practice Manager, Fellow and Life Member of the Association. Colleen is currently a member of the Editorial Committee and the Fellowship Taskforce.

Sue is the National Manager for QIP Health and Community Services Accreditation. She has worked with Quality Innovation Performance (QIP) which is part of the AGPAL Group for ten years. Her knowledge, experience and expertise and quality assurance and accreditation spans across a broad range of professional Standards and accreditation programs in various service industries and health service environments.
At QIP, Sue oversees a team of Senior Coordinators and Client Liaison Officers located at offices in Melbourne, Sydney and Brisbane, and is responsible for the delivery of a diverse range of accreditation programs to the health and community services sectors.
Sue holds a number of qualifications including business management and is a qualified lead auditor in Quality Management Systems and Environmental Management Systems. Sue sits on a number of committees working closely with State and Federal Health Service Regulators, stakeholders and peak organisations.
Previously Sue worked in the community health sector in rural Victoria, specialising in Indigenous health and improved health strategies within the community. Following her move to Queensland, Sue took up the position of Accreditation Manager for the Postgraduate Medical Education Council of Queensland, managing the accreditation of intern training programs in metropolitan, rural and remote Queensland hospitals before commencing with QIP.

Wally is currently the principal GP in a family practice in Sydney. He supervises GP registrars and medical students in this practice. His interests include paediatrics, men’s health, ethics, health law, and quality and safety in health care. He also has a Master of Health Law. He has a keen interest in health economics and models of care in general practice, including the Patient Centred Medical Home frameworks. He sits on various MBS review committees, is a member of the evaluation subcommittee of the Medicare Services Advisory Committee and sits on review committees for Therapeutic Guidelines. He is National Clinical Champion for Health Care Homes. He was RACGP NSW GP of year in 2017.
Gary has been involved in the management of health care practices for over 30 years.
He was once reported in a medical magazine as “the guru” in Practice Management.
He has been the National President of the Australian Association of Practice Managers and President of NSW Branch. Gary has been awarded a Life Membership to AAPM in recognition of his exceptional commitment to AAPM and outstanding contribution to AAPM both at State and National level.
Gary represents his Association on a number of Commonwealth Government health related advisory boards, task groups and expert standing committees in the health care sector.
He holds an Academic position with University of New England Partnerships where he also presents in their Professional Practice Management Program. Jan Chaffey is the Chief Executive Officer at Camp Hill Healthcare – an integrated multidisciplinary practice with 17 general practitioners, 3 visiting medical specialists, 8 allied health professionals,6 clinical nurses, 3 specialist nurses and a total practice team of more than 50.
Beginning her career as a physiotherapist Jan later moved into practice management. With over 30 years experience Jan has been integrally involved in the healthcare journey in areas such as: the development of the practice team, general practice accreditation, healthcare information technology, general practice research, systemisation of practices to improve efficiency and the patient journey, and e-health development and implementation.

Louise Riley is the Acting Assistant Secretary of the Primary Care, Dental and Palliative Care Branch of the Australian Government Department of Health. Louise has over 20 years’ experience working for the Australian Government on a wide range of complex health policy issues and programs, including population health, aged care, mental health and primary care, and on a number of cross portfolio issues including the NDIS. Most recently she has led teams responsible for the development and implementation of Health Care Homes and her current Branch has responsibility for policy development and programs covering health information, advice and counselling services, dental health, palliative care, maternity services, allied health and primary care, including the Health Care Homes initiative. Louise has a Master of Public Health from the University of Queensland and a Batchelor of Arts (Hons) from the Australian National University.
Paresh, an AGPAL and QIP Quality Specialist and Director and Principal of Prestantia Health, brings together a diverse range of expertise into a unique organisation delivering outreach primary care and healthcare consultancy services.
His expertise is focused on clinical leadership, quality and patient safety improvement with a primary care emphasis. Dr Ian Gardner has been the Chief Health Officer at the Department of Veterans’ Affairs since 2015. He has more than 35 years of global experience in occupational, environmental and public health medicine, and came to DVA from his role as the Senior Physician in Occupational and Environmental Medicine at the Defence Centre for Occupational Health and Safety.
Dr Gardner holds multiple degrees and a number of academic, advisory and clinical appointments in his field, and was awarded the College Medal by the Royal Australasian College of Physicians in 2003.
Marina Fulcher is a healthcare consultant with extensive experience in healthcare management, gained from working with and managing a wide range of organisations across the healthcare industry.
Marina has worked extensively in a practice management advocacy and advisory capacity on many aspects of the national digital health agenda since 2008. Bringing knowledge and understanding that traverses both management and clinical requirements, her work has included extensive involvement in the development of digital health foundations such as the HI Service and on the ongoing development of the My Health Record. After working with Western Sydney PHN managing the Patient Centred Medical Home and integrated care initiatives, Marina worked with AGPAL on the development of the Health Care Homes education materials. Her insight into the benefits of this model of care, particularly for patients with chronic and complex healthcare needs and how a connected healthcare system can support improved patient health outcomes, aligns well with her digital health expertise.
Marina is a past AAPM National President, Life Member, Fellow and Certified Practice Manager. She is a knowledgeable trainer and presenter who has also published many articles on Practice Management and digital health.
Like most of us Karen Campbell has several careers under her belt from running the local cake shop to temping for Argentinean food importers and a terrifying medical patent agent.
