Interactive, high-energy workshop teaching how the conditioning of our medical education process creates a powerful unconscious bias towards and out of balanced life. Attendees will learn how to recognise their programming in real time and learn and practice scheduling tools to ensure a more balanced life.

Learning objectives of the session are:

  • Learn how the workaholic programming of medical education increases risk of physician burnout, medical errors and patient dissatisfaction
  • Learn and practice simple methods to create a boundary between work and home to enable recharge on your time off
  • Learn and practice weekly scheduling processes to create more life balance each week
  • Learn why these two activities lead to higher levels of practice and patient satisfaction
